Finding a distributor in India is really tough as the market is extremely fragmented and unorganized. Directories like Just Dial are useless it only provides contact details of distributors. One does not know whether concerned distributor is looking for new business or not, how much he/she can invest, what kind of infrastructure, staff etc. the distributor has etc. In the absence of such vital information – one may waste lot of time and energy but achieves little. The other option is to publish advertisement in newspapers. However, this option is expensive, lasts only one day and offers limited coverage, usually a city.
